The authoritative online publication GiveMeSport has published a ranking of the 10 worst forwards in the history of the English Premier League (EPL).
Thus, Arsenal school graduate and Crystal Palace player Yaya Sanogo was recognized as the worst striker. The footballer played the vast majority of his 21 matches at Crystal Palace and in all of these games he did not score a single result.
In second place is Jozy Altidore, who was first bought by Sunderland for £9 million. Then he moved to Hull City. His statistics are “impressive”: 2 goals and 8 assists in 70 matches.
The top three in the ranking was completed by former Chelsea, Wigan and Blackburn player Franco Di Santo. In 122 matches, the Argentine, who was even compared to Diego Maradona, scored only 14 goals and 9 assists.
