Google removed Ukrainian military facilities from maps — Ukraine
The head of the Center for countering disinformation assured that there will be no such problems in the future.
The American company Google corrected the situation with the display of Ukrainian military facilities and systems on its maps.
On November 7, the head of the Center for countering disinformation at the NSDC, Andriy Kovalenko, announced this in Telegram.
“Google has fixed the situation with maps. Military objects and systems are no longer displayed. In the future, everything will also be ok,” Kovalenko wrote in a telegram.
We will remind you that last week Google updated Google Maps, which led to the discovery of the location of Ukrainian military systems. This update could be used to the detriment of Ukraine, as the information became available to Russia.
