Interesting finds – a man found old objects in the yard – UNIAN

British blogger Mark Rowlands found things in the backyard of an old house, the search for which is a real hobby for some people.

The author of the TikTok channel markshouseandgardenuk said that he has been living in a house that has a 450-year history for two and a half years. He discovered old items in the ground when he started digging a wildlife pond in his yard:

“You have to remember that 450 years ago there was no rubbish collection – no one came on Monday morning to empty your bin. So a lot of rubbish was just thrown into a hole in the garden.”

The man showed subscribers small clay pots and glass bottles of different shapes, sizes and colors. The inscriptions “Hankinson's Alterine”, “Hall's Wine and Tonic” and “G.F. & A. Brown & Sons, Nantwich and Crewe” can be seen.
