Representatives of the National Selection for Eurovision 2025 announced the date when the finalists of the competition will be named and were stunned by the number of applications that were submitted for participation. This year, applications were accepted from September 17 to November 10.
As Suspilne writes, in 2024, 369 artists decided to try their hand at the national selection. Interestingly, there were even more songs, because this year future contestants were allowed to submit more than one track. Consequently, the organizers of the music competition received 374 compositions.
