The Ukrainian defenders failed to knock the enemy out of the city center.

Russian troops advanced 2.5 km to the center of Toretsk, Donetsk region, and currently control about 70% of the city's territory.

This was reported by BILD's open data analyst Julian Röpke.

According to Ryopke, the Ukrainian troops did not succeed in knocking out the enemy from the center of Toretsk, despite repeated attempts.

The analyst noted that for several weeks now, the Defense Forces of Ukraine have been trying to cut off the advance of the Russian offensive with flanking strikes from the north and south.

Fierce street battles continue for every apartment building. As a result, the city, where up to 50,000 people once lived, has been turned into ruins,” the statement said.

According to the analyst, the Armed Forces of Ukraine failed to launch a counterattack, surround and knock out the occupiers from apartment buildings in the city center….
