Findings of archaeologists – the oldest “migration route” of prehistoric people was discovered – UNIAN

In Tajikistan, archaeologists have found a 150,000-year-old object that played a key role in the migration and development of early humans and their ancestors in Central Asia.
According to researchers, several species of people could coexist in the Zeravshan Valley, including modern Homo sapiens, Neanderthals or Denisovans. It was this area that likely served as a migration route to Asia, according to the study, writes the Independent.
“It turns out that the Zeravshan Valley, known primarily as the Silk Road route in the Middle Ages, was a key route for human expansion long before that,” study co-author Yossi Seidner commented on the discovery.
