The Galician District Court of Lviv extended the preventive measure of the suspect in the intentional murder of linguist Iryna Farion for another two months.
This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office.
Yes, the suspect will be detained without bail for another 60 days – until January 12, 2025 inclusive.
The prosecutor's office recalled that the man was detained at his residence in Dnipro in July, and has been in custody since then.
It will be recalled that in October, the lawyers of the criminal suspect Vyacheslav Zinchenko forced the court to release him under house arrest, but the judges kept the boy in custody.
It should be noted that Farion died in the hospital on July 19, 2024 after being shot by an unknown assailant.
