Spain has issued a new flood warning due to heavy rain and storms – just two weeks after previous flash floods killed hundreds of people.
According to DW, the National Meteorological Office AEMET warned of “very heavy heavy rain and downpours.” The provinces of Malaga, Granada, northern Castellon and southern Tarragona, as well as the coast of Valencia, are in the danger zone.
It is noted that the highest red alert level has been declared for Tarragona, Malaga and Valencia. These provinces are expected to receive up to 180 millimeters of rain over the next 12 hours.
