Mother of the late boxer Vyacheslava Uzelkova – Zinaida Uzelkova – told about the strained relationship with her son's ex-wife Marina Borzhemska and answered why she didn't let her go to the funeral.

According to the athlete's mother, she did not communicate with her son while he was married to Borzhemskaya. Zinaida Uzelkova is convinced that the reason for this was Marina herself, they say, she did not allow it to be done. The boxer's mother does not know the reasons, because she assures that she “never set her son against the family and never said anything bad.” They started communicating only in 2020, when Uzelkov had a new girlfriend, who advised them to resume contact.
