Forecasters reported on the surprises that winter 2024 has in store

According to meteorologists, the coming winter promises to be mild and favorable. This is confirmed by temperature forecasts for all three winter months.
In December, the average air temperature in Moscow will be 3 degrees above normal, in January – by about 7 degrees, and in February – by 2.
It is also reported that in December the temperature will range from -5 to -10 degrees. December will be the snowiest and windiest month for the capital region. In the first month of winter, 19 days with precipitation and 12 days with partly cloudy weather are expected.
These statistics are based on historical data: over the past ten years, the region has recorded 19 days with prolonged precipitation and 12 days with partly cloudy weather.
It’s too early to make predictions about the first snow, but, according to Roman Vilfand, everything is still to come.
