A 15-year-old boy died in a physical education class in Odesa – what is known about the tragedy

The teachers called an “ambulance” for the teenager, but he died before the doctors arrived.

A 15-year-old boy died during a physical education lesson in one of the villages of the Bereziv District in Odesa.

This is reported by the police of Odesa region.

According to law enforcement officers, the 10th grade student became ill during physical education class. The young man asked to leave, and collapsed in the corridor. The teachers called an “ambulance” for the teenager and tried to provide him with first aid. Unfortunately, the doctors who arrived at the scene declared the boy dead.

An investigative and operational team of the police is working at the scene. Forensic experts will determine the cause of the child's death.

Earlier, it was reported about a similar tragic case in Uzhgorod, where a 10th-grader died during a physical education lesson.
