Kazakh boxer Daulet Daukenov (14-2, 6 KOs) performed in the main fight of the professional boxing evening Fight Nights Boxing in Astana, Sports.kz reports.
Daukenov fought with Argentinean Carlos Cordoba (16-11, 4 KOs). The junior welterweight fight was scheduled for ten rounds and ended with Daulet winning by split decision.
Thus, Daulet Daukenov won the fifteenth victory in his professional career and won the secondary WBL championship belt, and Carlos Cordoba suffered his twelfth defeat in the pro ring.
