A boxer from Uzbekistan became a two-time Asian champion – Boxing/MMA

On Asian Championship 2024 Boxing in Chiang Mai (Thailand) held the final in the women's weight category up to 66 kilograms, writes Sports.kz.

Representative of Uzbekistan Navbahor Khamidova fought in it with Yuan Huiping from China. Following the results of three rounds, the judges were favorable to the favorite in the person of Khamidova, giving her the victory by split decision (4:1). Thus, she took gold, and the Chinese woman completed the 2024 Championships with a silver medal.

Let us note that Navbakhor Khamidova took “gold” at the 2022 Asian Championship and “silver” at the 2021 continental championship.

Earlier today, Farzona Fozilova (48 kg) and Feruza Kazakova (52 kg) became the 2024 Asian champions from Uzbekistan.
