The Kirov prosecutor's office spoke about the progress of the investigation into the case of a child being injured on a playground. The details of the incident and its consequences were reported in the press service of the department.

At the beginning of August 2023, a 7-year-old boy was playing on the playground in the Korchemkino settlement, Novovyatsky district of the city of Kirov. One of the swings turned out to be faulty, and the boy fell, suffering a fracture of the femur of his left leg, which is considered serious harm.

The boy underwent treatment and recovery for a long time. The prosecutor's office became interested in the incident. They established that the playground did not have an owner, and the responsible persons in the territorial administration for the Novovyatsky district were inactive and did not dismantle the swings.
