A child was poisoned by mushrooms in the Ternopil region
Maria was poisoned by wild mushrooms.
In the Ternopil region, in the city of Kopychyntsi, 13-year-old Maria Mykulska died as a result of poisoning by wild mushrooms.
This was reported by the city council.
It is known that the law enforcement officers have already opened a case for non-fulfilment of child care duties.
The girl died in the hospital and became the fourth victim from a large family whose members ended up in medical institutions after eating mushrooms.
“Despite all the efforts of the doctors, her heart stopped beating during her stay in the hospital. She was a friendly and sincere girl, she studied well at school,” the report says.
It will be recalled that a 2-year-old girl from a large family from the Ternopil region died the day before in Lviv. She needed a liver transplant because of the mushrooms that poisoned her family.
