A female spy was detained in the Chernihiv region
The suspect captured military targets for money using an application that added information about the time and place of shooting to photos and videos.
A woman who was spying for the enemy, passing on information about military facilities, was detained in Chernihiv. A local resident is suspected of treason committed under martial law (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office.
According to the investigation, in October 2024, she began contacting a representative of Russia via Telegram, agreeing to collect data on military facilities in Chernigov.
The suspect, receiving money, used a special application for recording military targets, adding information about the time and place of shooting to photos and videos. She transmitted these materials via messenger, and received the funds in a cryptocurrency wallet.
