A Kirov resident secretly decided to use someone else’s property

A 42-year-old Kirov resident pocketed someone else’s power tool. Details of the situation were reported by the regional National Guard.

At about 3 p.m., the National Guard received a signal about an incident in the regional center. A welding machine and a circular saw were stolen from the basement of one of the high-rise buildings. The property belonged to a management company. The Russian Guard went to the address. They asked the Criminal Code workers about the characteristics of the suspect – a man who was seen near the work site.

Law enforcement officers began a search. Soon, a few blocks from the crime, a citizen matching the description was spotted on the street. He was stopped to check his documents. Stolen tools were found among his belongings. The suspect was handed over to the police.
