A Kirov resident wanted for another crime was caught stealing a bottle of vodka.

In Kirov, the Russian Guard detained a man suspected of committing a crime. The details were shared by the department's press service.

On a December day, Kirov law enforcement officers received an alarm from a grocery store on Lenin Street. A private security crew immediately moved to the scene.

It turned out that the staff of the outlet suspected the buyer of theft: the man intended to carry a bottle of vodka past the cash register. The attempt was a failure – law enforcement officers had to be called to the scene.

They checked the suspect's documents and found out that he was already being sought as a suspect in theft from the store. Last time, the amount of damage was over 2.5 thousand rubles. The offender was handed over to the police.
