A Kotlashan man waylaid a Glazov resident at night and committed a robbery in Kirov on December 25

Kirov police are looking into the details of a crime in which the offender and the victim turned out to be residents of neighboring regions. The details were shared by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kirov region.

In December, a native of Glazov in the Republic of Udmurtia came to Kirov on work matters. Walking through the streets of the city at night, a man met a stranger on his way. Suddenly, he took out pepper spray, used it on the victim and ran away, snatching the victim’s phone.

The Glazov resident contacted the police. There they opened a case of robbery and began to look for the villain. Law enforcement officers managed to get on his trail.
