Today, in the Odessa Zoological Park, an employee of the institution was attacked by a leopard. According to the regional headquarters of the National Police, the director of the zoo contacted law enforcement officers at about 10:00. He said that one of the employees went to clean the enclosure and was attacked by a leopard.
Arriving at the scene, the police saw another worker in the enclosure with the leopard, who was trying to help the wounded man and was trapped.
“Therefore, in order to save people’s lives, the police were forced to use weapons and neutralize the animal. The wounded man was taken to the hospital,” law enforcement officers said.
