In the village of Gora in the Kyiv region, the confrontation regarding the new educational institution continues. It was started to be built five years ago. The initial cost was 165 million. And now, in order to complete the construction of this school, another billion is needed. The village head announced the new sum and stunned the villagers.

600 children study in the old school

Gora in the Kyiv region is a village between Kyiv and Boryspil. And here they do not complain about the lack of students. Next year, children will be enrolled in the first grade for as many as three parallels. And so far more than 600 students are studying. And in order to accommodate everyone, they go in two shifts.

“This year, the institution celebrated its 60th anniversary. And the new school has been waiting for 40 years,” says Lyceum director Andriy Gutovskyi.
