An unusual case was reported by doctors at the Second People's Hospital of Fujian Province in China. According to them, the 35-year-old man suffered a fracture of the femur during a coughing fit. This is almost a unique case: usually men of his age receive fractures of the femur as a result of serious injuries, such as a traffic accident or a fall from a great height.
