Britain's Ministry of Defense said the British Royal Air Force took to the skies on Thursday, November 14, after radar detected a Russian warplane near British airspace.

It is noted that the Russian Tu-142 aircraft flew over the North Sea accompanied by Typhoon fighters deployed at the Lossiemouth base.
“A Russian reconnaissance aircraft was detected in the UK area of interest. It failed to enter UK sovereign airspace.
