The artists talked about the court proceedings with fraudsters, which lasted for six years.

The court proceedings began way back in 2019. Then, as the musicians report on their Instagram, Volyn fraudsters led by Serhiy Lapkovskyi patented the A note and its physical and acoustic properties. After that, the so-called “patent trolls” filed a lawsuit against “Antitil”, alleging that they illegally used their patent in their songs.
In the meantime, the musicians turned to the law enforcement authorities and initiated a criminal case against Lapkovsky, as well as initiated the process of revoking the corresponding patent right. The court case was resumed in the summer of 2022.
