New floods hit the region of Girona in northeastern Spain. Streams of water swept through the center of the Catalan city of Cadaques on the morning of Friday, November 8, after torrential rain.
A video posted on the X social network by a local journalist shows a stream of water pouring down the street and sweeping away dozens of cars stuck under the bridge.
As reported by the fire service of Catalonia, about 30 cars piled up under the bridge in the city of Cadequesi. Fortunately, there are no victims.
As the BBC reports, the Meteorological Service of Catalonia has issued a warning of heavy rains that will continue from Friday night to Saturday afternoon in the Alt Emporda district, where Cadaques is located.
