A New Year's retro train will take place in Kirov for the first time

The Telegram channel “About GZhD” reports that the Gorky Railway will send a retro train from Kirov for the first time.
The steam-powered tourist train route will be opened in connection with the 650th anniversary of the city of Kirov and the events of the New Year's capital of Russia.
On December 29, 2024 and from January 2 to 6, 2025, the train will travel along the route Kirov – Matantsy – Lyangasovo – Kirov. Departure at 10:00, return at 12:25.
The New Year's retro train will consist of a vintage L-series steam locomotive and a comfortable carriage. While driving, an animation program, games and congratulations to Santa Claus are organized for tourists. Tickets will go on sale from December 9th.
We previously wrote that during the holidays, additional trains to Moscow and St. Petersburg will be launched for Kirov residents.
