A piece of art generated by artificial intelligence has sold for more than $1 million for the first time.
A painting created by the humanoid robot artist Ai-Da sold for a record $1.08 million at Sotheby's auction house in New York.

The starting price of the lot was $120-180 thousand. 27 applicants competed for the purchase of the painting, the name of the winner of the bids has not been disclosed.
