A player called up to the Kazakhstan national team left a foreign club after two consecutive championships – Football

Former national goalkeeper Kazakhstan national team Marcel Islamkulov left the Kyrgyzstan “Abdysh-Ata” by mutual consent of the parties, Sports.kz reports with reference to the club’s press service.

As part of Abdysh-Ata, Islamkulov twice became the champion of the Kyrgyz Republic (2023, 2024), won the country's Super Cup (2024), and also won bronze in the AFC Cup (2023/24).

Let us remind you that in 2017–2018, Marcel Islamkulov was called up to the national team of Kazakhstan, but did not take to the field. Later he received citizenship of Kyrgyzstan and officially made his debut for the national team of this country in January 2024.
