Police in the Kirov region report that a policeman rescued a fisherman who fell through the ice.
On December 1, a man was fishing near the village of Strizhi in the Orichevsky district. Police Lieutenant Colonel Maxim Krestyaninov spent his day off there doing the same thing.
When the man fell through the ice, the policeman quickly realized what to do and used the “fishing rescue.” Maxim crawled to the victim and helped him get out of the hole, then took him home in his personal car and provided first aid.
A resident of the Orichevsky district thanked Maxim Krestyaninov, who helped her husband get to shore.
