A scientific center has been opened in Sberbank that will work with regional universities

A new structural unit – the “AI for Science” center – has appeared in Sberbank. The center will develop an artificial intelligence (AI) platform for scientific research in chemistry, physics, biology and other sciences. Senior Vice President, Head of the Technological Development block Andrey Belevtsev spoke about this on the start day of the IV Congress of Young Scientists.

At the first stage, the center’s staff will determine the landscape of scientific activity and the areas in which the introduction of AI will bring the greatest benefit. They also systematize the skills that an AI system should have to help scientists do science.
