A 35-year-old resident of the Poltava region, previously convicted of fraud several times, created a fake page in one of the social networks, where he posted an ad about vacationing on the Shatsky Lakes.
He convinced potential vacationers who approached the scammer of the need to make a prepayment, and sometimes full payment of the cost of the trip. According to the investigation, the man's fraudulent actions affected seven residents of Romanshchyna, who lost more than 70,000 hryvnias.
