A tank company under the command of a Kirov resident broke through the enemy’s defenses in the Northern Military District zone

The Russian Ministry of Defense shared information about a selfless Kirov resident, whose professional actions made it possible to solve a strategic problem. The details were provided by the press service of the regional government.

The commander of a tank company, originally from Kirov, led his unit in the area of ​​​​the village of Ocheretino (DPR). The senior lieutenant was assigned to transport infantry to the line of combat contact. During the mission, the armored group came into close contact with the enemy.

The Kirov resident commanded the crew of one of the T-80 tanks. Thanks to his professional actions, the soldiers from the main gun hit two enemy firing points and destroyed the machine gun crew. The mission was completed without losses, the enemy’s defenses were broken through, the position was occupied by Russian soldiers.
