Near the border with Moldova, border guards together with the police detained a 41-year-old man from Odessa, who converted his car to transport fugitives abroad. He transported illegal passengers in a hiding place located in a niche between the back seat and the trunk.

The carrier took customers by car from Odesa to one of the settlements near the so-called Transnistria, and dropped them off 200 meters from the border. On the spot, the passengers were to receive further instructions: the route and the rules of the conspiracy.
