An accident involving a truck and a tractor occurred in the Kirov region. The incident was reported to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.
According to the department, on the morning of Saturday, December 14, a MTZ-42L tractor and a Sitrak truck with a trailer collided on the Kostroma-Sharya-Kirov-Perm highway. Inspectors and doctors were called at 8:10 to the 599th kilometer of the road in the Yuryansky district. It is known that the 63-year-old tractor driver was injured.
The State Traffic Inspectorate added that during the period from Friday to Sunday, from December 13 to 15, 13 major accidents were registered in Kirov and the region, in which 15 people were injured. Two more people, including a 17-year-old girl, were fatally injured in an accident in the Kumensky district.
