A unique necklace from the times of Russia: Ukrainian historians showed an exhibit
The necklace belongs to the 11th-12th century culture and has rare decorative elements.
The necklace from the Divych Hora hillfort, found in the village of Sakhnivka, Cherkasy Region, is an important find belonging to the Rus' culture of the 11th-12th centuries.
This was reported by the press service of the Treasury of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine.
“The beads are spherical, hollow. On the surface there are images of birds and animals. The outline of the images is outlined with scanning wires, and the entire inner surface is covered with fine grain,” the message reads.
Three beads depict pairs of birds alternating with crosses, and one bead depicts animals located under arches.
