A US company that was developing a supersonic passenger plane has closed down.
Exosonic planned to build the Horizon supersonic airliner.
Exosonic, which was developing supersonic civil aircraft, said it could not find investors to continue its work and was winding down its activities. This was reported on the company's official website.
“Unfortunately, Exosonic today announces that the company is closing its doors,” the company said in a statement. “Thank you to everyone who has watched our journey for their support and love for our vision and mission of our company,” the American company added.
