The Bundestag passed a vote of no confidence in German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Now German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier has 21 days to decide to dissolve parliament, writes Deutsche Welle.

The publication noted that the decision to announce a vote of confidence in Scholz was supported by 207 deputies, and 394 were against it. Another 116 deputies abstained. Therefore, the Chancellor failed to obtain the required 367 votes.
