A brave eyewitness jumped into the river to help before emergency services arrived. The victim was pulled alive from the River Tavy in Tavistock, Great Britain. It happened around 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3.

Crews used ladders and rescue equipment to extricate the woman from the car. Then they used winches and straps to secure the car.
