After a conversation with “FSB officers,” a Kirov resident lost her home and 5.5 million rubles

Kirov police are establishing the circumstances of the theft of a large sum of money from a Kirov woman. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Kirov region reported about another victim of scammers.

A 67-year-old Kirov resident received several calls in succession from “an employee of a cellular operator,” then from “a representative of the Central Bank of Russia,” and then from “an employee of the FSB of Russia.” None of them seemed suspicious to the pensioner, and she believed the stories about “suspicious transactions” in her accounts.
