The Verkhovna Rada believes that the US will continue to support Ukraine under Trump's presidency.
Newly elected US President Donald Trump is not used to losing, so he will continue to support Ukraine, because its victory in the war will also be a victory for the US and Trump personally.
This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security Yehor Chernev on the air of the My-Ukraine TV channel.
Chernev said that such an opinion about Trump and Ukraine was expressed during a personal conversation by the chairman of the Congress Committee on Intelligence, Mike Turner. According to him, at the moment, no one, not even Republicans in Congress, knows what exactly Trump will do. However, Turner emphasized that he has “reserved optimism” that Ukraine will not be left without support.
