Air defense for Ukraine – Vladimir Zelensky
Germany will continue to support Ukrainian air defense forces, and will transfer another Iris-T system and Patriot launchers in December.
Ukraine is looking for air defense capabilities to strengthen the protection of two dozen special facilities in the country.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced this at a joint press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Kyiv.
“We are really grateful to Germany for such large assistance – 28 billion euros. It is significant,” he said.
As the President of Ukraine noted, he spoke separately with the Chancellor of Germany about additional strengthening of air defense.
