If during boarding it turns out that a passenger’s hand luggage exceeds the carrier’s permissible standards, but the person is ready to check it in as luggage and, if necessary, pay for this service, the airline does not have the right to refuse him transportation. Each airline independently determines the size and weight of hand luggage allowed in the cabin. Typically this is a suitcase or bag measuring up to 55x40x25 cm and weighing up to 10 kg.
