Airports in Moscow were suspended
The “Carpet” plan was introduced in the airports of the Russian capital.
On Thursday, December 26, Moscow's Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports were suspended due to the threat of a drone attack.
This is reported by Russian publications with reference to the federal agency “Rosaviatsia”.
In the mentioned airports of the Russian capital, the “Carpet” plan was introduced, which provides for restrictions on flights. The Russian aviation department explained such measures as security needs.
The same situation was at the international airport “Zhukovsky”, located in the suburbs of Moscow.
The “Carpet” plan was also introduced at the Kaluga airport.
Around 4:40 p.m. local time (at 3:40 p.m. Kyiv time), the flight ban was lifted.
