The “Heart of Azovstal” project to support the defenders of Mariupol and their families will continue to operate in 2025. This decision was made by the founder of the project, Rinat Akhmetov.

“I decided to continue the work of the “Heart of Azovstal” project in 2025, because more than one and a half thousand defenders of Mariupol are still in captivity. And this is not just a number – it is more than one and a half thousand courageous people, Ukrainians, who find themselves in an extremely difficult life situation They must know that they are not alone. That their families, parents, children are waiting for them, the whole of Ukraine is waiting for them. And it is our duty to fight for these guys, to support and help. “Thank you very much to them for their feat – not only in words, but also in deeds,” said Rinat Akhmetov.

The “Heart of Azovstal” project began work on January 16, 2023 by Akhmetov’s personal decision.
