Akhmetova's Metinvest has launched the production of 20 new types of products in 2024 – UNIAN

Metallurgical enterprises of Metinvest Group in Ukraine began production of 20 new types of products in 2024. In just a decade of war, the Group managed to launch the production of 422 types of new products.

This year, the most new products were developed in the segment of long products (12), cold-rolled coils and sheets (4), hot-rolled coils and sheets (2), as well as galvanized coils and semi-finished products (one each). The lion's share of new products came from the Kametstal and Zaporizhstal plants.

Thus, “Kametstal” has mastered the production of reinforcing bars for reinforced concrete structures, six types of wire rod made of different steel grades and different sizes, hot-rolled profiles for fastening mine workings, and round bars made of St3ps steel with a diameter of 27 mm according to Ukrainian standards…
