Absolute world heavyweight champion Alexander Usik and DTEK are drawing the attention of the world community to the attacks on the Ukrainian energy system.

DTEK is collaborating with Usyk as part of the #BattleForSvitlo campaign to draw international attention to the critical state of Ukraine's energy system and request technical assistance for all Ukrainian energy companies, the report noted.

In 2024, Russia destroyed or damaged more than 90% of DTEK's thermal generation capacity, 45% of its hydroelectric power capacity, and hundreds of critical energy facilities across the country.
