Alexander Usik met with Ukrainian veterans before the fight – UNIAN

Absolute heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk met with Ukrainian veterans in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, before his fight with British boxer Tyson Fury. This is stated in the DTEK message.

The day before the fight, Alexander Usik met with Ukrainian defenders who came to support the Ukrainian champion. Among them are miners and power engineers from DTEK, metallurgists from Metinvest, as well as defenders of Mariupol as part of the Heart of Azovstal project.

The veterans wished the boxer good luck in the fight with Fury. About 40 Ukrainian defenders came to Riyadh to support Usik.

The initiative became part of the joint campaign “Battle for Light”, which is being implemented by the DTEK company Rinat Akhmetova and Alexander Usik.
