Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov was again elected president of the International Fencing Federation. He returned to his position, which he left after the US and EU countries imposed sanctions against him due to the Russian Federation’s full-scale war against Ukraine, Bloomberg writes.
The publication recalled that Usmanov left his post in March 2022 and stated that he would fight in the courts against “slanderous accusations.”
