The UN Secretary General wants “all parties” in the Russian war against Ukraine to take urgent steps to de-escalate the situation, because “everything is developing in the wrong direction.”

This was stated by the spokesman of the UN Secretary General Stephane Dujarric, commenting on the request of journalists Russia's use of a new type of ballistic missile in the war against Ukraine– writes Ukrinform.

“This is another disturbing development,” he said. “Everything is moving in the wrong direction. We want all parties to take urgent steps to de-escalate the situation, to ensure the protection of the civilian population, and not to launch strikes on civilian targets or critical civilian infrastructure”.
