Almost 22,000 civilians were evacuated in Kharkiv Oblast in six months


Humanitarian, psychological and financial assistance is provided to evacuated people already in relatively safe areas in the city of Kharkiv.

Almost 22,000 civilians have been evacuated from dangerous areas in the Kharkiv region since May this year.

This was stated by the head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleg Synegubov, Ukrinform writes.

“Evacuation measures of the civilian population are ongoing. We take out both children and adults. If we take from May of this year to today, we have already exported almost 22,000 civilian population from dangerous directions,” said the head of the region.

He noted that Vovchansky district of Chuguyiv district, Liptsi, Kharkiv district, and Kupyan district are classified as dangerous areas.
